Car Ceramic Coating in Pawleys Island & the Grand Strand

Salt, UV, and pollen are breaking down your clear coat right now — faster on the coast than almost anywhere inland. A ceramic coating is the strongest, longest-lasting defense: a hard, hydrophobic barrier that protects the finish for years. We correct the paint to its best first, then coat it — at your driveway.

What's working on your paint

The coast attacks a finish from every direction.

Salt & humidity

Accelerate oxidation and corrosion, dulling paint and pitting brightwork faster here than inland.

UV

Breaks down clear coat, fading and chalking the surface over relentless coastal sun.

Pollen & contaminants

Etch and stain the clear coat when they're left to bond — especially in spring.

Wash swirls

The everyday damage: improper washing leaves swirls that kill gloss and resale value.

The protection

Owning protection, not renting it.

A ceramic coating is a hard, semi-permanent layer that bonds to your clear coat. It adds real chemical, UV, and scratch resistance, and it's strongly hydrophobic — water, salt, and grime sheet off instead of bonding to the paint.

Wax is renting protection: it washes away in weeks and leaves the coast a fresh opening. Coating is owning it — years of defense from a single application, and a finish that stays deeper and glossier the whole time.

Correction before coating — always

A coating locks in whatever is underneath it. Coat over swirls and oxidation, and you seal the flaws in for years. That's why every coating starts with correction: we make the paint look its best, then protect it there.

It's the same standard we hold on every job — no corner you'd hide.

How a coating goes on

A real process, in the right order.

01

Decontaminate

Wash, iron and tar removal, and clay to strip everything bonded to the paint — the coast leaves more than dirt behind.

02

Correct

Machine paint correction to remove swirls, oxidation, and water spotting, so the finish is right before we seal it.

03

Coat & cure

Panel wipe, then ceramic layers applied by hand and given proper cure time in a shaded, controlled space.

04

Protect & maintain

Walkthrough at handoff, care guidance, and a maintenance plan to hold the warranty and stay ahead of the salt.

Coat the whole asset

Paint is the start, not the finish.

The coast doesn't stop at the bodywork. Adding protection on the surfaces that take the most abuse is where a coating earns its keep.

Wheel-face & caliper coating

Repels brake dust and road salt on the part that takes the most abuse.

Glass coating

Hydrophobic windshield and fronts — rain sheets off, visibility stays clear.

Interior & leather coating

Protects seats and surfaces from UV, spills, and wear.

Trim restoration & coating

Restores faded exterior trim to deep satin black and seals it.

After the coating

A coating holds best on a plan.

Salt air is relentless, so we keep your protection ahead of it. Every coating enrolls a maintenance plan — the upkeep that holds the warranty and keeps the finish performing for its full term.

Ceramic coating questions

How long does a ceramic coating last in salt air?

It depends on the tier and upkeep — our coatings carry roughly 2 to 9 years of protection by package. On the coast, the maintenance plan is what keeps a coating performing to its full term, because salt and UV never stop working on it.

Do I still need to wash a coated car?

Yes, but it's far easier and safer. The hydrophobic layer releases dirt, salt, and contaminants instead of letting them bond, so washes are quicker and gentler on the paint. We'll show you the right pH-neutral routine, or handle it on a plan.

Why does paint correction come first, and cost extra?

A coating locks in whatever's underneath. If we coat over swirls or oxidation, we seal the flaws in permanently. Correcting first means we're protecting a finish that already looks its best.

Can you coat my car at my house?

Yes — we're fully mobile. We bring everything and just need water, power, and a shaded, dry space for the coating to cure, which we confirm when we book.

Is a coating worth it on a brand-new car?

Especially then. New paint is the ideal canvas — minimal correction needed — and you protect it before the coast starts working on it. It's the cheapest moment to defend the finish.

Defend your paint before the coast gets ahead of it.
