Coastal Asset Protection

Protecting What You Own From the Carolina Coast

Salt air, UV, and humidity are working on your vehicles, boats, RVs, and carts every single day — and the threat never stops. Coastal asset protection is how we defend those surfaces: restore the damage, coat what matters, and keep it all ahead of the salt with recurring care. Other detailers clean. We protect.

The enemy is the coast

One environment, attacking everything you own.

Inland, a finish ages slowly. On the Waccamaw Neck — caught between the ocean and the river — salt, sun, and humidity gang up on every surface at once, around the clock. That's the single threat all of our work answers.

Salt & humidity

Corrosion and oxidation on paint, gelcoat, aluminum, and brightwork.

UV

Fading, chalking, and clear-coat breakdown under relentless coastal sun.

Pollen & contaminants

Etching and staining when they're left to bond in the coastal heat.

Time

The threat is constant — which is exactly why protection can't be a one-time event.

Maintenance plans

Protection is never “done.” Neither is the salt.

The day after a coating goes on, the coast goes back to work. A maintenance plan is how you stay ahead of it — recurring, scheduled care that holds your coating's warranty, keeps the finish performing for its full term, and means your asset is always ready instead of slowly slipping.

It's also the honest recommendation. We'd rather keep one asset protected for years than sell you a finish that quietly degrades the moment we leave.

Vehicle & cart plans

Scheduled maintenance washes and periodic interior refreshes that keep coated cars and carts pristine and the coating performing.

Boat & marine plans

Dockside maintenance washes, salt neutralizing, and periodic protection to keep gelcoat and metal ahead of constant saltwater exposure.

Multi-asset & absentee programs

One program across the car, boat, and cart — with priority scheduling, a locked rate, and member pricing on any added work.

For second-home & absentee owners

We protect your coastal assets while you're away.

Your boat, vehicle, and cart sit exposed in salt air for months between visits, with no one watching them. We keep them protected on a recurring schedule and send photos and updates, so everything is clean, coated, and ready the day you arrive. For an out-of-town owner, that's the trusted local you don't have to be here to rely on.

Coastal asset protection questions

What does “coastal asset protection” actually mean?

It's our term for defending the things you own — vehicles, boats, RVs, golf carts, and equipment — against the Carolina coastal environment: salt air, UV, humidity, and pollen. Detailing, correction, restoration, and ceramic coating are the methods. Protecting the surface is the product. On this coast, that's a meaningful difference, because the threat is real, constant, and specific to living near the water.

Is “salt air protection” a real thing, or marketing?

Very real. Salt air and humidity accelerate oxidation and corrosion on paint, gelcoat, aluminum, and wheels noticeably faster here than inland. “Salt air protection” is simply the umbrella for the services — decontamination, coating, restoration, and maintenance — that defend against exactly that. It's why protection matters more on the Waccamaw Neck than it would in the Midlands.

Why do you push maintenance plans so hard?

Because the coast never takes a day off. A coating or a detail is protection at a point in time; the salt and sun start working against it the next morning. A maintenance plan is what keeps your protection ahead of the threat — it holds a coating's warranty, keeps the finish performing, and means your asset is always ready, not slowly degrading between visits. It's the honest answer to a threat that never stops.

I'm not always in Pawleys. Can you protect my assets while I'm away?

This is exactly who our plans are built for. Your boat, vehicle, or cart sits exposed in salt air for months while you're gone. We protect it on a recurring schedule and send photos and updates, so everything is clean, coated, and ready when you arrive — trusted local stewardship without you having to be here.

Do I have to coat everything at once?

No. Most clients start with one asset — a vehicle, a boat, a cart — and expand from there. The protection menu is built to layer: restore first where there's damage, protect what matters most, then bring the rest of the household onto a plan over time. We'll map the smart order for your situation.
